ETV Bharat celebrates Diwali with ITBP jawans

To express gratitude and know more about them, ETV Bharat visited the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) Northern Stand Camp in Mohanlalganj, Lucknow where we celebrated Diwali with jawans who are also called 'Himvir'.

Lucknow: While everyone loves to spend the festival time with their family and loved ones, there are the soldiers who tirelessly work to keep the nation safe, come festival or calamity.

ETV Bharat celebrates Diwali with ITBP jawans

The soldiers, away from home make sure that the citizens are safe without any second thoughts about their own life, family or health.

To express gratitude and know more about them, ETV Bharat visited the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) Northern Stand Camp in Mohanlalganj, Lucknow where we celebrated Diwali with jawans who are also called 'Himvir'.

The jawans danced, sang and prayed.

A special cultural program was also presented and jawans showcased their singing and dancing talents too.

Jawans also extended their good wishes and greetings to the people of India and wished them a happy Diwali.

The jawans added that even though they are far from home they celebrate festivals by singing and dancing with colleagues which is like the second family to them.
