Corona positive woman gives birth, mother and baby in isolation

A COVID-19 positive woman hailing from Islam Nagar in Ghaziabad gave birth and the duo has been put in isolation in a government hospital in Sanjay Nagar.

Ghaziabad: A woman infected with Coronavirus has given birth in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh on April 16. The lady, who was discovered corona constructive, was delivered the baby at a private nursing facility in Nandagram.

The woman hailing from Islam Nagar was later shifted to the government hospital in Sanjay Nagar and has been put in isolation with the infant.

A team of health department sanitised her house and the area and quarantined her family.

The government hospital has claimed that mother and the newborn both are stable and the hospital will keep them in L2 category ward will all precautions.

Ghaziabad has reported 30 positive cases so far and the health department has informed that seven of them have been cured. According to the department in present, there are 23 active cases in the city.
