CBI team examines cremation site of Hathras woman

As a part of their investigation in the Hathras case, a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) team has reached the crime scene on Friday and collected samples from the spot. The CBI investigators spoke to the family members about the sequence of events on the day of the crime.

Hathras: A Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) team on Friday again visited the spot where the Hathras victim was cremated.

The CBI team collected samples from the spot, as a part of their ongoing investigation.

According to reports, the team probing the alleged gang-rape case and the murder of the Dalit woman visited the crime scene in Bulgarhi village and took family members of the victim with them.

The CBI investigators spoke to the family members about the sequence of events on the day of the crime.

It is pertinent to be mentioned here that the CBI team has visited the crime scene once on October 13.

Notably, the Hathras gang-rape victim had died on 29 September at Delhi's Safdarjung hospital after an alleged gang rape on 14 September.
