Etawah (Uttar Pradesh): Clashes between BJP and SP workers marred the block chief election in Etawah's Badhpura block. It is alleged that a BJP worked had slapped the SP City Prashant Kumar Singh during the poll violence. The video of SP City calling his superior and providing the information about the incident has gone viral.

A case has been registered at Badhpura police station against hundreds of BJP workers including history-sheeter BJP leader Vimal Bhadauria. Badhpura police station in-charge Jitendra Kumar Sharma has filed cases against 100-125 BJP workers including history-sheeter BJP leader Vimal Bhadauria. The charges include the attempt to murder, obstructing government work, disturbing law and order, etc.

The incident happened during the block chief election in Badhpura, where a clash between the SP and BJP workers led to stone-pelting in the area. To stop the clash, SP City Prashant Kumar Singh started driving everyone away from the area. It is alleged that during this time a BJP worker slapped the SP City. Meanwhile, police have started an investigation into the incident.
