Hapur (Uttar Pradesh): At least five people dies on the spot and one was critically injured in a road accident that took place on the National Highway 9 of Hafizpur area in Hapur district of Uttar Pradesh.
According to the information received, the incident took place when a Swift Desire came from Amroha side and collided with the parking truck from behind.
Five people died on the spot and the sixth one was referred to Meerut hospital in a critical condition but died in the hospital during the treatment.
On receiving the information, police reached the spot and further investigation is being carried out to ascertain the identity of the dead.
Two people have been identified as Khursheed and Suhail of Amroha village who were brothers and were working in Delhi.
