Mirzapur: A bus carrying pilgrims from Maharashtra's Amravati overturned in Mirzapur of Uttar Pradesh within Haliya Police station limits in which 26 people were severely injured. Police sources said that the incident took place due to brake failure.
On receiving the information, Police reached the spot and transported all the injured to the district hospital for treatment with the help of an ambulance.
While talking to ETV Bharat, an injured passenger informed that they were on a pilgrimage in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Nepal.
The pilgrims of the bus were on their way to Bodhgaya from Amravati.
