Lucknow: Bahujan Samajwadi Party supremo and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati's father, Prabhu Dayal passed away on November 19. He was 95 years old. The party grieved over the demise.
BSP national general secretary Satish Chandra Mishra said that there is a prayer on behalf of all the functionaries of BSP, let the departed soul be in peace and let the bereaved family be able to bear the irrecoverable loss.
Prabhu Dayal worked in the Indian Postal Department as the Section Head. He had three daughters including Mayawati and six sons.
As per sources, he breathed his last at his son Anand's house in Delhi. Mayawati paid tribute to him in her brother's residence.
