BJP minister shown black flags in Noida

BJP Minister Mahesh Sharma was shown black flags while campaigning for upcoming Lok Sabha polls in Noida. The residents of Mirzapur village raised slogans and prevented Sharma from carrying out the campaign, requiring the intervention of the police. The local residents opposed him during his electoral campaigning by raising slogans against him.

New Delhi: BJP MinisterMahesh Sharma was shown black flags by the residents of Mirzapur village in Greater Noida, under Dankaur police station limits, while campaigning for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections on Wednesday.

The villagers even sloganeered against the minister saying, "Mahesh Sharma Haye Haye, Mahesh Sharma Murdabad".

Police present at the spot interfered and took control of the situation.

According to information, Rajnath Singh might contest the election on Gautam Buddh Nagar seat, while Mahesh Sharma will be fighting from his native place, Alwar.

However, no official statement has been given so far.
