New Delhi: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, along with senior officials, on Tuesday paid tribute to his father Anand Singh Bisht, who passed away yesterday at the All India Medical Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi.

Adityanath and his team of 11 people, who had gathered for a meeting here to take stock of situation concerning coronavirus in the state, stood in silence for two minutes remembering Bisht and praying for his soul to rest in peace.

After the tribute, the Chief Minister discussed the situation with his team members and directed them to continue serving people in these difficult times.

Adityanath’s father was suffering from liver and kidney ailments. Reportedly, the Chief Minister was in a meeting when the news of the death of his father was conveyed to him. He, however, continued his meeting and got up only after completing the meeting on Coronavirus situation in the state.
