Ayodhya: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will perform Bhoomipujan for Ram Temple on August 5 in the premises of Shri Ram Janmabhhoomi in the holy city of Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh. Twenty-nine years ago, Prime Minister Modi had come to Ayodhya as an ordinary BJP worker. A local journalist claims that Modi had then said that he would come to Ayodhya only when the Ram Temple is built.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to perform Bhoomipujan for Ram Temple in Ayodhya on August 5. It is, therefore, quite natural for the people to recall all their memories related to the Ram Temple movement. Prime Minister Modi did not come to offer his obeisance to Ram Lala after seeing Lord Rama in the makeshift temple of the tent. A new dawn will begin on August 5 when he enters the premises of Shri Ram Janmabhhoomi.

Ram temple is going to be constructed at the place of Lord Rama’s birth after a struggle of 500 years. It is the result of the struggle of the people associated with the Ram Temple movement. Hence, Ramnagri is being adorned magnificently to witness the beginning of Ram Temple’s construction. A dazzling Dipotsva has been planned for August 5 when Prime Minister Modi lays the foundation of Ram Temple.

Before his visit to Ayodhya, Prime Minister Modi has shared a photograph on social media. It is said the photo is of the year 1991. He had come to participate in Janmotsav of Ram Lala. In the photograph, he is seen with former Union Minister Dr Murli Manohar Joshi. This photograph has been clicked by local photographer Mahendra Tripathi.

Tripathi says that he had asked Modi when he would like to visit Ayodhya again to which he had said that he would come only when Ram Temple is built. Many questions were raised over Prime Minister Modi not visiting Ayodhya between 1991 and 2020. The construction of Ram Temple has always been a part of the BJP’s agenda. So when Modi, five-time Chief Minister of Gujarat, became the Prime Minister, political parties raised questions over his not visiting Ayodhya.

Now, Prime Minister Modi is coming to Ayodhya to lay the foundation of Shri Ram Temple, thus fulfilling his 29 years old solemn pledge. Photographer Mahendra Tripathi says that the sacrifice of ‘Kar Sewaks’ is going to be justified now. Prime Minister Modi is going to honour his 29 years old vow.

It is worth noting that Mahendra Tripathi is also a witness in the Babri Masjid demolition case, which is being currently heard in the CBI court in Ayodhya. He is a witness of Lal Krishna Advani and Santosh Dubey. Mahendra Tripathi, who met Modi 29 years ago in Ayodhya, wishes to meet him again when he is coming to the holy city as India’s Prime Minister. Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirth Trust should also invite him for the pious Bhoomipujan.
