Hyderabad: Adding feathers to its cap, ETV Bharat has bagged the coveted International Broadcasting Convention (IBC) 2019 Innovation Award under 'Content Everywhere' category in a recently-held broadcasting convention on September 13 at Amsterdam.
International Broadcasting Convention (IBC) is a London-based media, entertainment and technology show.
Outsmarting 180 competitors including Facebook and Deutsche Telekom, ETV Bharat emerged victorious in the convention and was adjudged as the “Number one News app at massive scale” by the IBC.
The award was received by technical partner Aveco and was later handed over to the Chairman of Ramoji Group Ramoji Rao by Aveco CEO Povel.
It is to be noted that ETV Bharat delivers content in 13 major languages including Hindi, Urdu, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Odiya, Malayalam, Gujarati, Marathi, Bengali, Punjabi, Assamese and English. IBC has recognised ETV Bharat for revolutionalising digital newsrooms.
