Hyderabad: Telangana chief minister's wife Shobha has responded to the ETV Bharat story on the plight of a poor family in Karimnagar district. She helped the family by donating one lakh rupees and showed her humanity. Local MLA Sunke Ravi Shankar assured that the poor family a house.
Tirupathi, who lived in Thermalapur in Ramadugu Mandal, Karimnagar district died on 18th of last month. The family does not have a home to live in. They didn't even manage to get a rented house. They are living in a half-constructed building. The old and children were suffering as there is no wall to that building. While constructing the house with borrowed money, the construction stopped abruptly after Tirupathi died.
ETV Bharat telecast this story with the caption "The head of the house's untimely death and family financial condition." Chief Minister KCR's wife Shobha responded to ETV Bharat's exclusive. The poor family was given by Rs. 1 lakh. Local MLA Sunke Ravi Shankar and local leaders announced another Rs 2 lakh. The MLA also assured them that they would build a house for them.
