A shocking incident took place in Hyderabad, where a 47-year-old man was hacked to death in Rajendranagar, police said.

Hyderabad: A shocking incident took place in Hyderabad in Telangana, where a 47-year-old man was hacked to death on Thursday in Rajendranagar, police said.

47-year-old brutally hacked to death in broad daylight on Hyderabad road

The victim identified as Asad Khan had more than 50 injuries, as per the police official. He was killed to avenge the murder of a rival Amjad Khan in 2018. Amjad's son had been keeping a check on Asad's movement for the past 3 years after his father's death.

According to DCP Shamshabad Prakash Reddy, "Amjad Khan's sons, along with others, were initially found guilty of the atrocity. The accused will be arrested soon."

How the incident took place

Around 1.45 pm on Thursday, Asad Khan, a resident of Achi Reddy Nagar, was on his way to Wattepalli with his friend Baba on a two-wheeler. A speeding auto collided with their bike. Suddenly, 6 men got down from the auto, with hunting scythes in their hands.

They attacked Asad Khan and threw him on the road.

Asad Khan and Amjad Khan were friends. Asad, who wanted to further strengthen their friendship, married his daughter to his friend's son, four years ago. After a while, there was a quarrel between the newly married couple. The girl came back to his parent's house after fighting with her husband. Asad blamed his friend for the quarrel between the couple.

In 2018, Asad killed Amjad Khan with a hammer. Asas was arrested and taken to jail but he soon came out on a bail.
