Telangana sizzles as mercury crosses 45 degrees

Several parts of Telangana sizzled with the high temperature on Monday as the mercury surpassed 45.3 degrees Celsius in Adilabad followed by Nizamabad (45), Ramagundam (43.8), Medak (43.6) and Nalgonda (43.5).

Hyderabad: Many places in Telangana sizzled on Monday with heat wave like situation across the state as Adilabad recorded maximum temperature of 45.3 degrees Celsius.

Adilabad was followed by Nizamabad with 45 degrees, Ramagundam 43.8 degrees, Medak 43.6 degrees and Nalgonda recorded 43.5 degrees, informed the Hyderabad based meteorological center. According to meterological center, several other areas in the state too crossed 40 degrees temperature on Tuesday.

Met department has also predicted moderate rain and thundershowers at isolated places in Telangana on Tuesday.
