Hyderabad: A man killed his mother and sister-in-law reportedly due to a financial crisis in the Tallankunta area on Friday.
The double murder took place at a house under Chandrayangutta police station limits around 8:30 in the morning.
According to police, the accused Rehman entered the house with a knife and murdered his sister-in-law Fareeda Begum (32) and mother Shehzadi Begum (60).
Reportedly, the victims died on the spot due to severe bleeding. The bodies have been shifted to the Osmania hospital.
Locals alleged that money and property issues were the main reason behind the crime.
Falaknuma ACP M A Majeed, Chandrayangutta Inspector Rudra Bhaskar along with other police officials reached the spot to investigate the matter.
Meanwhile, the two daughters of Fareeda Begum are studying in Progressive school.
