Hyderabad (Telangana): A leopard was sighted near the Hyderabad International Airport in Telangana's Peddagolkonda area late on Sunday night.
According to reports, a man spotted the leopard at around 11 pm on Sunday night heading towards the international airport runway from the suburbs of Peddagolkonda, following which he informed the police.
Meanwhile, a CCTV clip showed the big cat moving along a boundary wall with wired fencing and then leaping over it.
Forest officials have been trying to track down the leopard since Monday morning. They said they would keep a close watch on the leopard for a couple of days.
Meanwhile, people from the areas surrounding the airport have also informed forest officials that the leopard is roaming around in the Tukkuguda forest area.
