Hyderabad: Hyderabad Traffic Police created a green corridor to facilitate transportation of a live heart, official sources said here on Saturday.
The organ was transported from Care Hospital in Banjara Hills to Care Hospital, Nampally on Friday, they said.
The six-kilometre journey, that would normally take 20 to 25 minutes, was completed within ten minutes.
The ambulance, carrying the live heart left Banjara Hills at 8:08 PM and reached Care Hospital, Namapally at 8.18 PM, they added.
