Hyderabad (Telangana): A class eight student, who was availing treatment after allegedly jumping off his school building on January 29, succumbed to his injuries on Friday morning.
Mahesh, who was studying at the Viswa Bharathi School in the city's SR Nagar area, jumped off the school building on January 29, as he was upset after being scolded by his teacher, the boy's family members alleged.
The family also alleged that the teacher threatened to expel the boy from the school by giving him a transfer certificate (TC).
The school authorities, however, claim that the boy slipped and fell off the building by accident.
Meanwhile, the police have registered a case based on the family's complaint, and have initiated an investigation into the matter.
