Hyderabad: The Communist Party of India's National General Secretary, D Raja on Sunday was fallen ill while addressing the CPI National Committee meetings at Magdum Bhavan in Himayat Nagar in Hyderabad.
According to sources, Raja became ill during the meeting and was immediately rushed to Kamineni Hospital here for treatment.
Meanwhile, doctors at the hospital said that Raja fell ill due to low blood pressure and his health condition is said to be stable.
The CPI national executive Committee meeting began on Friday and national committee meeting is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday where top CPI leaders will participate.
