Blaze at timber depot in Khammam

In Srinivasa Nagar in Khammam of Telangana on Saturday, a major fire accident broke out at a timber depot. The fire, which broke out due to short circuit, caused loss of around Rs 80 lakh to the shopkeepers nearby.

The fire, which broke out due to short circuit, caused loss of around Rs 80 lakh to the shopkeepers nearby.

As per the locals, due to shortage of water in the fire fighting vehicles, the tenders could not immediately respond to the situation.

Ten shops were damaged due to blaze at the depot.
