Hyderabad: Customs officials at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport at Hyderabad in Telangana seized 2.6 kg gold from a passenger on Friday.
According to officials, the gold was in the form of biscuits valued at Rs 1.28 crores.
The Customs Department booked the passenger for smuggling of gold and said further investigations are in progress.
Last month, 386 grams of gold was seized from a passenger who had arrived from Dubai.
