Chengalpattu (Tamil Nadu): Two youths were held in Tamil Nadu's Chengalpattu on Sunday for allegedly circulating child pornography on social media.
The offenders, Abinesh and Chinna, both 19-years-old and hailing from Nainakuppam here, allegedly shot videos of underage boys indulging sexual acts without their knowledge and uploaded it on social media platforms.
When this video came across a social activist, he immediately called the child helpline 1098 and filed the complaint, who in return informed the women police station.
Based on this complaint, the police filed a case against the duo under POCSO and IT Act traced them down using an IP address and arrested them on Sunday.
Meanwhile, the boys have been sent to care home.
