Chennai (Tamil Nadu): Tameem Ansari and Kanseem lived in Mandhaveli area of Chennai. Kanseem was cheating on her husband and was in a relationship with a man named Riyas who is an engineer. Having met on FaceBook, they became close friends.
Recently, on the eve of Tameem's son's birthday celebration, Kanseem made a wild allegation saying that Tameem's brother-in-law stole Rs. 56 lakhs and that her daughter was an eyewitness.
Tameem lodged a complaint over the issue in Pattinappakkam police station. During the investigation, the truth came to light that the money was stolen by non-other than Kanseem.
Kanseem and Riyas had planned to take the money and abscond to Kolkata. Later police raided Riyas's house and recovered Rs 43 lakh. Kanseem and Riyas have been arrested.
