Pollachi: Two men were arrested on Friday for killing two tigers in the Tamil Nadu's Anamalai Tiger Reserve by feeding them poisoned pork meat.
The forest department received information regarding the death of two tigers on April 10.
Later the forest officers along with the medical team inspected the carcasses and the postmortem report revealed that they died due to poisoning.
Soon the forest department initiated an investigation and after a week they arrested two men from Sethumadai.
During the preliminary investigation, the accused men confessed to the crime and were later sent to Coimbatore Central Prison.
The forest department is still searching for two others who were involved in the crime.
