Chennai (Tamil Nadu): Three members of a family were found dead in an apartment in Vinayaga Maestri Street at Sowcarpet, Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
The deceased have been identified as Tali Chand, his wife Pushpa (70) and their son Seethal (38). The family originally hailed from Rajasthan.
Tali Chand was running a financial firm in the city and had rented the first floor of a three-storey residential apartment in Vinayaga Maestri Street at Sowcarpet, Chennai.
The daughter of Tali Chand, Pinky also lived in the same locality with her husband.
The incident came to light on November 11, when Pinky, went to her parents’ home and found the trio dead inside their bedroom following which she alerted the police personnel. Cops rushed to the spot.

A team of fingerprint experts and forensic experts also rushed to the spot.
A sniffer dog was also pressed into service to trace the assailants.
The city police commissioner, North Chennai additional commissioner and other officers also visited the Spot.
The police have formed special teams to trace the assailants with the help of CCTV camera footage from nearby areas.
Initial investigation has revealed that there was a property dispute between Talichand family and their relatives.
Cops are conducting the investigation from various angles.
