Erode (TN): Ever heard of someone putting his life at risk for the mobile phone? In a bizarre incident in Tamil Nadu's Erode district, an elderly man nearly lost his life while trying to take out his mobile phone from a well.
The incident happened at Moolakkadai Aalangattu area when Rangasany (60) pumped out 60 feet of water of a well to take out his phone which had accidentally fallen there.
Man puts his life at risk for mobile phone
As per locals, after pumping out water, he tied himself to a rope and tried to go into the well to take out his phone but unexpectedly the rope broke and he fell into the well.
Rangasany was later rescued by the Erode Fire Brigade team and shifted to a government hospital for the treatment.
