Anna University designs robot to help doctors treating corona patients

In order to avoid the medical staff from getting infected from the coronavirus, Anna University's Automobile department and Electronic Communication department came up with a robot which can perform multiple tasks.

Chennai: Anna University manufactured a robot which can help the doctors who are treating corona patients.

In order to avoid the medical staff from getting infected from the virus, Anna University's Automobile department and Electronic Communication department came up with the invention.

The robot, christened as AU MIT BOT, has been given to Omandurar Government Medical College.

It can be directed within 500 metres distance and has wifi facility.

The machine can deliver food/medicines, deduce a patient's health condition and spray disinfectants as well.
