A 15 month-old-boy was killed in a scuffle between his father and friend over a petty issue in Tamil Nadu. Thottiyam Police have registered a case and have made one arrest in connection with the case.

Trichy: A 15 month-old-boy was killed in a freak incident while his father and friend fought over a petty issue in Kallupatti village, here.

The incident happened when the boy's father and a friend fought over alleged theft of Rs 70 on Monday.

Nithiswaran, the deceased, was being carried by his father Rangar, when the fight broke out.

According to reports, an argument broke out between Rangar and his friend Senthil over a petty issue, when the latter was accused of stealing Rs 70 from another friend Anand.

An enraged Senthil attacked Rangar with a wooden club. In the melee, the child suffered injuries, and fainted, the police said.

The child was rushed to a government hospital in Musiri and was referred to the Trichy Government Hospital, where the child succumbed to his injuries.

Thottiyam Police have registered a case and have arrested Senthil in this connection.

Coolie labourour named Ranger living Kaluppatti village is located near Musiri from Trichy district. He was chatting to his friends along with 15-month-old infant son Nityeswaran last night.

During that time arugment rises among friends that Senthil from same village had stolen Rs.70 from his friend Anand. Heated arguement turn as scuffle between each other and angered senthil tried to attack renger through wood.

But it fallen on 15 month old boy nithishwaran and he fainted after beaten up. Then immediately nithishwaran rushed to musiri govt. hospital.

Afterwards for further treatment nitheshwaran taken to trichy govt. hospital, but he died.

Regarding this incident thotiyam police registered a case and arrested senthil. Death of 15 month child for 70 rs become tragedy in village.

திருச்சி மாவட்டம் முசிறி, தொட்டியம் அருகே உள்ளது கல்லுப்பட்டி கிராமம். இந்த பகுதியை சேர்ந்தவர் ரெங்கர்.கூலித் தொழிலாளி. இவர் நேற்று இரவு தனது 15 மாத ஆண் குழந்தை நித்தீஸ்வரனை தூக்கிக் கொண்டு நண்பர்களுடன் பேசிக் கொண்டு இருந்தார். அப்போது அதே ஊரைச் சேர்ந்த செந்தில் என்பவர் அவரது நண்பரான ஆனந்த் என்பவரிடம் இருந்து 70 ரூபாய் பணத்தை திருடியதாக புகார் எழுந்துள்ளது. இது தொடர்பாக நடந்த வாக்குவாதத்தின் போது ரெங்கருக்கும், செந்திலுக்கும் இடையே தள்ளுமுள்ளு ஏற்பட்டுள்ளது. ஒரு கட்டத்தில் ஆத்திரமடைந்த செந்தில் அருகில் இருந்த கட்டையை எடுத்து ரெங்கரை பயங்கரமாக தாக்கினார். அப்போது அவர் கையில் இருந்த குழந்தையின் தலையில் அடி பலமாக விழுந்தது. இதில் நித்தீஸ்வரன் மயங்கி விழுந்தான். உடனடியாக குழந்தையை முசிறி அரசு மருத்துவமனையில் சிகிச்சைக்காக சேர்த்தனர். பின்னர் மேல் சிகிச்சைக்காக திருச்சி அரசு மருத்துவமனையில் சேர்த்தனர். அங்கு நித்தீஸ்வரன் பரிதாபமாக உயிரிழந்தான்.

இது குறித்து தொட்டியம் போலீசார் வழக்கு பதிவு செய்து செந்திலை கைது செய்தனர். 70 ரூபாய் தகராறில் குழந்தை அடித்துக் கொல்லப்பட்ட சம்பவம் அந்த கிராமத்தில் பெரும் சோகத்தை ஏற்படுத்தியுள்ளது.
