आखिर पुलिस की ऐसी कौन सी मजबूरी थी कि इन महिलाओं के साथ (जिनमें वृद्धा भी शामिल हैं) ये अमानवीयता बरती गई ?
कृपया संज्ञान लें @NCWIndia @sharmarekha @RajCMO @ashokgehlot51 https://t.co/OFgBO2qOm8

The video was later retweeted by the BJP Rajasthan’s official twitter handle. It's worth noticing that the exact location of the video was not mentioned in the tweet.
Upon investigation, it was found that the video was shot in a village in Bhilwara district, 20 days ago. The women in the video were caught cutting woods in the forest area illegally and were then asked to do sit-ups as a mild punishment.
Rajasthan Police Chief DGP Bhupendra Singh clarified and said that strict action will be taken against the responsible police officials.
