Video showing police brutality goes viral in Rajasthan

A video has gone viral in Rajasthan wherein a person is being slapped by a policeman without even listening to him. The police claimed he created a ruckus after being brought to the police station and they were just trying to control him. He was, according to the official sources, held for driving under the influence of alcohol.

Ajmer: A video showing a policeman beating a person in this district of Rajasthan has gone viral.

ETV Bharat has found out that the man, who is being beaten up by the police personnel, was arrested for rash driving and after he was brought to the police station, a policeman started beating him instead filing a case against him.

The video clearly shows how a policeman has been hitting the man without even listening to him.

On being asked the police said it was a case of drinking and driving. He was caught driving under the influence of alcohol and as he was brought to the police station, he started misbehaving with the police official present there and created ruckus in the police station.
