Jaipur: Asiatic lioness 'Srishti' from Junagadh's Sakkarbaug Zoological Park will be brought to Nahargarh Biological Park in Jaipur on Wednesday.
The one-and-a-half-year-old lioness would be paired with lion Tripur who is alone at the Rajasthan bio park.
A team led by Senior Medical Officer Dr Arvind Mathur went to Gujarat to pick up the lioness and a pair of wolves have been given to Nahargarh Biological Park in lieu of her.
With the relocation, the tourists would once again enjoy the sightings of the lioness in the safaris.
Earlier, four Asiatic lions were present in the Nahargarh Biological Park. However, two of them - Kailash and Tejas died.

At present, a lion and lioness Tara and Tripur (brother-sister) are there in Park.
Along the same lines, a tiger pair from Nandankanan will be brought to Jaipur and one lion and one lioness respectively will be brought soon from Junagadh in Gujarat.
