Two arrested for rape, filming obscene video of a woman in Rajasthan

Two persons in Rajasthan's Ajmer, who had prepared an obscene video of a woman clandestinely, were on Friday arrested for allegedly raping her for over a month.

Kekri (Rajasthan): Rajasthan police have arrested two persons on Friday for allegedly raping a woman for over a month and blackmailing with her obscene video in Kawas area under Kekri police limits in Rajasthan's Ajmer.

The accused duo has been identified as Dinesh Kumar and Bhairulal Meghvansi of Khawas village in Ajmer.

According to police, Dinesh and Bhairulal threatened the woman to make the video clip public and raped her. The duo raped the woman several times and also filmed a nude video after threatening the victim of dire consequences.

The victim informed her husband about the incident and later they registered a complaint at Kekri police station, police said. Both accused were arrested and the victim was taken for medical examination, they said.

During interrogation, the accused also confessed to the crime. Police also said that Dinesh sent the photos and videos to the woman threatening her to upload those on social media and demanded Rs 5 lakh.

The police recovered the video clip of the rape from the accused. The accused and victim will be presented before the court to record their statement, station house officer of Kekri police Mahaveer Sharma said.
