Three of a family commit suicide in Jodhpur, no suicide note recovered

A man was found hanging from the ceiling fan of his house, while his wife and son were found lying on the bed. The police suspect that the man might have killed his son and wife before hanging himself from a ceiling fan. Police have launched an investigation to find out the reason behind the deaths.

Jodhpur (Rajasthan): Three members of a family have allegedly committed suicide by hanging themselves in their house in sector B of Shankar Nagar of ​​Chopasni Housing Board police station area on Friday, police said.

Police said that no suicide note has been recovered from the spot

According to Neeraj Sharma, Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Pratapnagar, Rajendra (50) was found hanging from the ceiling fan of his house, while his wife, Indra, and son, Nitin, were found lying on the bed. The police suspect that Rajendra might have killed his son and wife before hanging himself from a ceiling fan.

ACP Sharma further told that the deceased family were residents of Bhopalgarh and used to work in the handicraft factory in Boranada area.

On receiving the information, the parents of the deceased also reached Jodhpur from Bhopalgarh.

Police said that no suicide note has been recovered from the spot.

Forensic Science Laboratory team also reached to gather evidence from the spot.

Police have launched an investigation to find out the reason behind the deaths.
