New Delhi: A special seminar was held in Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi on Saturday to discuss the issues related to Rajasthan's farmers and other agricultural activities.
The seminar was attended by Ministers, government officials, state farmers and agricultural scientists, who discussed technical innovations and strategies for the prosperity of farmers in Rajasthan.
Talking to media, Rajasthan MP Narayan Lal Panchariya said, "We are working towards a new vision which has been set by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This seminar is first of its kind, specially arranged for the farmers so that they may discuss their issues with the agricultural scientists and government officials."
Minister of State in the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Kailash Choudhary said that this time Modi government has increased the agriculture budget.
"We can double the farmer's income by zero budgeting farming, organic farming, and proper marketing of the products," added Choudhary.
Former Minister of Agriculture Prabhu Lal Saini said, "By promoting Olive green tea of Rajasthan we can increase the income of the Rajasthan farmers."
He also said that we have to work in a planned manner and create awareness among the farmers in order to bring improvement in the agricultural sector.
