Sachin Pilot snubs BJP MP on switching sides

Congress leader Sachin Pilot lashed out at the Bharatiya Janata Party MP Rita Bahuguna Joshi saying she must have spoken to Sachin Tendulkar and not me. His reaction came after Joshi claimed that Pilot will join BJP.

Jaipur: Congress leader Sachin Pilot lashed out at the Bharatiya Janata Party MP Rita Bahuguna Joshi after she claimed that Pilot will join BJP. This statement comes amid, the speculation of Sachin Pilot's dissatisfaction within the Congress party.

For the past one week, there has been distress within the ruling Rajasthan Congress Party. A lot is being spoken about Sachin Pilot, amid signs that dissidence is resurfacing in Rajasthan's ruling party nearly a year after it managed to stave off a rebellion by the Pilot camp.

Ahead of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly Elections in 2022, political parties are gearing up. It has been observed that many leaders are moving out of Congress. Recently, young and prominent Congress leader Jitin Prasada joined the BJP.

When asked about the same, Pilot dismissed all the speculations. But Pilot expressed displeasure over BJP MP Rita Bahuguna Joshi's statement and said someone who herself has left Congress and joined BJP should not talk about this. Rita Bhaguna was with Congress for nearly 25 years and later went on to join the BJP.

Pilot's reaction comes after Bahuguna said that she had spoken to Pilot and told him that leaders who are doing good politics should work for the Modi government. Reacting to that Pilot said Bahuguna must have spoken to Sachin Tendulkar and not me.
