Jalore: A toddler fell into a 90-feet deep borewell in Lachdi village of Rajasthan's Jalore district on Thursday. The State Disaster Relief Force (SDRF) teams have reached the spot and a rescue operation is underway.
The incident took place in Sanchore tehsil when four-year-old Ajay fell into the newly dug borewell in the morning while playing in the field of his father Nagaram Dewasi.
The child tripped into the borewell while he tried to look inside the hole by removing the iron wires which were covering it.

Top officials of administration and police rushed to the spot and the NDRF teams are on their way.
Subdivision Officer Bhupendra Yadav, Tehsildar Deslaram, Block Medical Officer Omprakash Suthar, Deputy Superintendent of Police Virendra Singh and Police Officer Praveen are at the accident spot.

A camera has been inserted into the borewell to track the movement of the child and a water bottle was also sent into it through a rope.
The trapped child has been provided oxygen through a hose.
