Ajmer (Rajasthan): Students and faculty members of DAV College have set a new record in the India Book of Records by creating the country's largest painting on the institution's roof.
Around 25 students, including the teaching and non-teaching staff of the college, were part of the event.
The students and staff members set the record for creating and displaying the largest painting on the theme Covid-19 awareness.
After thoroughly inspecting the painting, officials of the India Book of Records, who were present at the spot, announced the result.
"By creating such a large painting, our college students have set a record in the India Book of Records. They have created the traditional Phad painting of the state. Masks, social distancing, sanitiser and vaccine are the weapons to fight against coronavirus. The students delivered the same message through the painting," said Dr Ritu Shilpi, Dean, DAV College.
