Barmer(Rajasthan): Security and intelligence agencies have swung into action as Pakistan has once again initiated the smuggling along the border in Rajasthan's Barmer district.
On Tuesday the Barmer Police and ATS in a joint operation recovered 7 kg of heroin and arrested the smuggler Bachao Kha from the India-Pakistan border.
Magistrate Sonal Purohit has granted seven days custodial remand of Bachao Kha following the request of the police.
In an investigation, it is revealed that Pakistan has once again activated its old smugglers to supply drugs and other illegal substances to Punjab through the border of the Barmer district of Rajasthan.
Following an investigation, the security and intelligence agencies have started scrutinizing the history of the old smugglers on the border areas and have also started tracking their movements.
Police are also working to find all the links of smugglers to Pakistan and trying to stop their dealing through the social media platform.
