NTA reissues NEET UG 2023 admit cards after technical goof-up

An all-time record high 20 lakh students will appear at the NEET UG 2023 exam on May 7. The admit cards for which were issued by the NTA on its website today.

Kota: The National Testing Agency (NTA) finally released the admit cards for the National Eligibility-Cum-Entrance Undergraduate (NEET UG) on their website after a technical mistake was spotted this morning. The downloading link was removed soon after releasing it on the official website. Students asked questions by tagging the DG of NTA. Also, students alleged that the previous year's registration number was released.

Finally, NTA issued a fresh link for downloading the admit cards from the official website, https://neet.nta.nic.in/.Over 20 lakh medical aspirants will appear at the NEET UG exam on May 7. Kota's education expert Dev Sharma said a link has been given in the 'Students Activity' section on the official website. Student will have to enter his/her application number, date of birth and security pin.

The NEET UG 2023 exam will be held in pen and paper mode in 499 cities across the country and abroad. There are 4,000 exam centres located across 485 cities in India apart from 14 centres in foreign countries. This time, 20,59,006 students have registered for NEET UG 2023 exam. In Rajasthan, 1,76,902 students will appear for the exam from 354 centres spread across 24 districts.

Kodev Sharma, a student said the admit card is of three pages. The first page includes the student's name, parent's name, exam center, roll number, application number, exam city, entry time and language. A self-declaration form has been given on this page, he said. In the second page, the candidate has to paste his/her postcard size photograph of size 4''x6''. The do's and don'ts are given for the candidate on the last page.

Candidates will have to fill in the self-declaration form and carry it with them to the examination center. The self-declaration form has three boxes. In the first box, the candidate has to paste his/her colour photograph that was uploaded during the application process. The candidate's left hand thumb impression has to be put in the second box and the third box will be filled at the examination hall.

The candidate has to affix the signature uploaded during the online application in the presence of the invigilator at the examination center. The invigilator and the candidate will have to sign on this page at the examination hall.
