Jodhpur: A murder accused has escaped from Jodhpur Central Jail, sources said. They said one Kailash, who was arrested in connection of murder of security guard, went missing during lunch time and could not be found.

The jail authorities and the local police are searching for him even as security has been beefed up at all entry and exit points of the city.
Kailash was arrested after he allegedly killed a security guard by hitting him on the head with an iron rod.
The incident has raised questions over the security arrangements of the jail, which is considered as one of the safest in the country.
