Jaipur: An eight-year-old boy was sexually assaulted by two minors in the Churu city of Rajasthan, the efforts are on to nab the accused, police said on Thursday.
According to the sources, a case has been registered at Kotwali police station of Churu after a court's intervention. However, kin of the victim accused that the police initially denied to register a case and asked the family to compromise.

"The eight-year-old boy was sexually assaulted by two other minor boys who happened to be living in his neighbouring area. The unfortunate incident is said to have taken place on 3 July. The culprits threatened the boy to kill him if he disclosed the matter to his family. However, on suspicion, the family enquired and was informed about the heinous act. A case was registered thereafter," a cop said.
He further added that the investigation is underway and the culprits will soon be nabbed.
