Minor boy in Rajasthan held hostage and forced to wear women's clothes

A video of a minor boy forced to wear a traditional dress of 'ghagra-chunri' and bangles is going viral in the town. The incident happened in a village under the Patan police station area of Neem Ka Thana town in Rajasthan. The police have rescued the minor boy and have detained four other accused in the case.

Neem Ka Thana (Rajasthan): A video of a minor boy forced to wear a traditional dress of 'ghagra-chunri' and bangles is going viral in the town. The incident happened in a village under the Patan police station area of Neem Ka Thana town in Rajasthan. After the video went viral on social media, the victim's brother lodged a case with the Patan police station. The police have recovered the minor boy and have detained four other accused in the case.

As per information, a person from Jaitusar village filed a report at Patan police station that some people took his minor brother hostage and forced him to wear a woman's traditional dress and bangles. He alleged that his minor brother was shamed by a group of 10 to 15 people, who were seen sitting around the boy. The perpetrators alleged that the minor boy had eloped with a girl from their village. So as revenge, they took the minor boy hostage and forced him to dress up like a woman.

The accused made a video of the entire incident which went viral on social media. They later called the brother of the minor and demanded money for releasing the boy. The victim's brother filed a police complaint based on which, the Police rescued the minor victim and detained four accused.

Patan police station officer Brijesh Singh Tanwar said that on 7 June 2021, the victim's brother filed a case that his brother was held hostage in the village and was forcibly dressed in women's clothes and bangles. The police acted promptly based on the complaint and recovered the minor and detained four accused. At present, the police are currently interrogating the four accused.
