Jaipur (Rajasthan): Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) MLA Vasudev Devnani has said it was evident from the beginning that Ashok Gehlot-led Rajasthan government would not survive the full term.
Speaking to the ETV Bharat here, Devnani said Congress MLAs being taken from one place to other shows how desperate Gehlot has become to save his government.
He said when the state is passing through a coronavirus health crisis, the Congress MLAs are locked in a hotel.
"People would teach them a lesson as they are not discharging their duty," he said, adding it would be difficult for them to continue to be in power without Sachin Pilot and his supporters.
Meanwhile, amid allegations of horse-trading, the Congress MLAs staying at a hotel in Jaipur have been shifted to Jaisalmer for the next 14 days.
The Rajasthan Assembly is scheduled to convene on August 14 and till then the MLAs will stay at the Jaisalmer resort.
