Churu (Rajasthan): Following the closure of schools amid coronavirus-induced lockdown, the children in Rajasthan's Churu district have donned a different role altogether – creating awareness about the disease among the locals by taking the help of characters from Ramayana.
Children, dressed up as Rama, Laxman, Sita and Hanuman, the epic characters of Ramayana, made videos to create awareness about coronavirus disease. They also posted those videos on social media platforms.
According to sources, the district administration of Charu is also organising various online competitions for children where they can participate in different activities.
It is to be noted that the state government is organising a series of awareness programmes to sensitise the people on the mode of transmission and the safeguards to be employed to contain the spread of the disease.
