Jodhpur (Rajasthan): The District and Sessions Court of Rajasthan's Jodhpur on Saturday postponed hearing Bollywood actor Salman Khan's appeal against the trial court judgment convicting him in the blackbuck hunting case, to February 24.

Following the High Court's decision which allowed the Bollywood actor to appear before the sessions court through video conferencing, the Jodhpur court today accepted Khan's application for the attendance apology.

Meanwhile, the government advocate presented arguments on the two appeals filed by the government. However, Khan's lawyers asked for more time to present their arguments on the matter. The next hearing on the matter will be on February 9.

Meanwhile, hearing on the actor's appeal against the trial court's ruling was not held today. The next hearing in the matter will be on February 24.

Khan had earlier been directed by the session court to appear in person before it during the hearing on his appeal against the trial court's April 5, 2018 ruling, convicting and sentencing him to five years in jail in the Black Buck poaching case.
