Ajmer: Clashes broke out between BJP leaders on Thursday, when the party's candidate Bhagirath Choudhary came to address a public gathering in Ajmer constituency.
The public meeting was organised in Masuda Tehsil, in support of Choudhary, witnessed the gathering of top BJP leaders across the region.
Before Choudhary gave his speech, Naveen Sharma, BJP's Ex-District Rural President took the microphone from BJP's Mandal President Sukhdev Singh to speak something on behalf of Choudhary.
Following the incident, supporters of both the leaders clashed and assaulted each other on stage. In the meantime, a police officer who came to control the situation also beaten by the party workers.
The leaders Naveen Sharma and Sukhdev Singh were reportedly opponents of each other.
Embarrassed by the incident, Ajmer BJP candidate Choudhary left the campaign meeting and reported the incident to the top leaders.
