Bharatpur (Rajasthan): A man, who went missing from a railway station, was finally united with his family after a year, here on Wednesday.

The man identified as Satyanarayan, hailing from the Bharatpur district of Rajasthan had gone missing.

Days later, he was found by a Non- Governmental Organisation (NGO), Apna Ghar Ashram at Shalawad railway gate in Bayana district in a miserable condition.

Special Story:Sister found her brother Satyanarayan on Bhai dooj, she had a glance of him in Kaun Banega karodpati.

Bharatpur. Sister found her lost brother on Bhai dooj. On finding him her eyes welled up, she hugged him and cried with joy. It is notable that the sister, Sharmishtha had caught a glance of him on the day of Dhanteras in an episode of famous  quiz show ‘Kaun banega Karodpati'.
It was last year when Sharmishtha had lost her brother on  a railway station. Since then she had been looking for him everywhere  possible and finally she found him on the day of Dhanteras in a special episode of Karm veer in Kaun banega Karodpati. After spotting him on the show the family contacted Apna Ghar ashram and found that he was staying with them. As soon as they found out, Sharmishtha and her family members reached Apna Ghar Ashram. On the auspicious day of Bhai Dooj the sister was finally united with her brother. On seeing him after a year her eyes welled up.
Vinay Gupta, younger brother of  who accompanied her to Apna Ghar Ashram told that his elder brother Satyanarayan  was separated from the family on 23 October, 2018 at Delhi railway station. They looked for him everywhere possible but in vain. After a year, they caught a glimpse of his brother on a TV show Kaun banega Karodpati. Sharmishtha informed that she contacted Apna Ghar Ashram through social media site Facebook and sent them pictures of her brother. Then the ashram confirmed that their lost brother Satyanarayan was with them, after which the elated siblings reached Apna Ghar Ashram to bring back their elder brother home.
The brother recognised his sister
The moment Satyanarayan was brought before his sister Sharmishtha and younger brother Vinay and other family members, his sister’s eyes brimmed with tears. Babita Gulati, the administrative officer of Apna Ghar Ashram said that when  asked Satyanarayan immediately recognised his sister and called her by her name.
Babita Gulati told that Satyanarayan was found at Shalawad railway gate in Bayana district in a miserable condition. This mental state was also not stable. He was then brought to Apna Ghar Ashram where he was given treatment and care. Satyanarayan is in better health now and is able to recognise his family too, hence, he would be sent home along with his family members on Tuesday.
It is praiseworthy, how Apna Ghar Ashram near Bharatpur, has become home for hundreds of destitute. The mentality unstable are given treatment and care here and if their families contact them they are handed over to them after verification. Even now so many men, women and children are this ashram waiting for their families to take them home.
