Bhilwara, now corona-free district in Rajasthan

Bhilwara has become the first COVID-19 free district in Rajasthan, after the test reports of the district's last two patients turned up negative on Friday. Earlier too, the Bhilwara model to deal with COVID-19 was discussed and appreciated throughout the country.

Bhilwara: The tireless hard work of local administration and doctors has finally paid with Bhilwara has become the first COVID-19 free district in Rajasthan.

On Friday, the test reports of the district's last two patients turned up negative.

Bhilwara district collector Rajendra Bhatt, who has played a key-role in implementing the Bhilwara model said, "Presently, Bhilwara has no known COVID-19 cases. Two patients in the hospital have recovered as their recent reports were negative. Both will be discharged after their third reports also turn up negative."

After the discharge of these two patients, Bhilwara would turn from a red zone to an orange zone.

He also said that Bhilwara will be declared a green zone only after they find no COVID-19 case for 28 days since they last had a patient.

Bhilwara became a corona hotspot in Rajasthan as there was a sudden increase in the number of corona positive in the entire city due to a doctor being infected.

Earlier too, the Bhilwara model to deal with COVID-19 was discussed and appreciated throughout the nation.
