Kota: The assistant engineer of Jaipur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited, who had escaped from the custody of Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB), has been arrested, police said.
They said he was caught red-handed receiving rupees three thousand as bribe by the ACB officials last night but slipped away from their custody while they were having dinner.
The accused Dinesh Kholia had demanded bribe from a farmer for installing a power transformer at his field and he was caught red-handed receiving the amount as the farmer had complained against him.
A search operation was launched against him and he was arrested, they added.
Police said people who helped him in escaping and hiding will also be arrested soon as helping a criminal is also a crime.
