Alwar: As many as seven people have been arrested for allegedly killing a 35-year-old man in Rajasthan's Alwar district.
The deceased has been identified as Devkaran who was a resident of Kalavadi village in the Alwar district.
As per reports, the victim was abducted on March 24 by some people who later killed him and threw the body in a jungle.
Speaking to ETV Bharat, Alwar Superintendent of Police (SP) Tejaswani Gautam said that the police have arrested 7 people who allegedly beaten the man to death.
"The accused suspected that Devkaran knew everything about a girl who had gone missing from Jaipur 4 months ago. In order to ask about the girl, they abducted him on March 24. Later they killed Devkaran as he did not give any information about the girl," she added.
The SP further said that a few accused are still at large and they will be nabbed soon.
